CRW WORLDWIDE (CRW) is an Emmy and international FREDDIE award-winning digital media, film and communications company. CRW has produced more 20 films held in over 300 libraries worldwide. Some of the networks and TV channels broadcasting the company’s documentaries and productions included; PBS, Discovery Channel, Harpo Productions, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates. CRW has also produced 300 continuing medical education and patient education modules for the CDC, DoD Military Health System, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, major non-profit medical societies and hospitals. She also has extensive experience producing business, finance, banking and international commerce programs for clients including the U.S. Treasury, General Motors, Aetna, Comerica and Talmer Banks. 

Currently CRW is producing a daily one hour, five day a week news program for the Black News Channel (“BCN”). CRW is also the creator and co-owner of the program. The company is also collaborating with the CDC on a national HIV education outreach campaign. Clara Wilkerson launched the Washington DC based media firm 25 years ago. The company’s core capabilities include developing broadcast TV productions, films, digital media, live event productions and crisis communications. Major national publications such as Prevention, Ladies Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, AARP magazine and more have also promoted and distributed CRW’s work. In the fall of 2016, CRW began production on a documentary about the history of the Freedman’s Bank in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Treasury. CRW recently completed work on a one-hour PBS documentary about the life of legendary businessman and founder of the Bartech Group, John W. Barfield. Emmy award-winning actor Jeff Daniels narrates the documentary. 

CRW was retained to write speeches for former President Bill Clinton. The company has produced videos and live events featuring numerous celebrities such as billionaire TV mogul Oprah Winfrey, nationally syndicated talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former DNC Chair Governor Howard Dean, former Director of the Red Cross, Dr. Bernadine Healy, Grammy award winning singer Patty Austin and the geneticist who was first to sequence the human genome, biochemist Dr. Craig Venter. Global public relations firms and Fortune 500 companies consistently utilize CRW’s PR and marketing skills. Some of the company’s clients include the American Cancer Society, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Edelman PR, Eastman Chemical Company, Eli Lilly, GSK, Kodak, Mayo Clinic, NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, Procter and Gamble, Novartis, Siemens, Thompson Reuters and YWCA USA. 

Continuing medical education and telehealth services are also part of the scope of services offered by Ms. Wilkerson’s firm. Her company has also produced over 300 continuing medical education training video modules for the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, American Medical Women’s Association, National Medical Association, Hispanic Medical Association, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and other major non-profit medical societies. In 2001, during the Anthrax crisis CRW was hired to lead a team of producers with the CDC presenting a live broadcast to physicians across the U.S. on how to manage patients infected with the deadly anthrax virus.
