CRW WORLDWIDE (CRW) is an Emmy and international FREDDIE award-winning digital media, film and communications company. CRW has produced more 20 films held in over 300 libraries worldwide. Some of the networks and TV channels broadcasting the company’s documentaries and productions included; PBS, Discovery Channel, Harpo Productions, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates. CRW has also produced 300 continuing medical education and patient education modules for the CDC, DoD Military Health System, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, major non-profit medical societies and hospitals. She also has extensive experience producing business, finance, banking and international commerce programs for clients including the U.S. Treasury, General Motors, Aetna, Comerica and Talmer Banks.
Currently CRW is producing a daily one hour, five day a week news program for the Black News Channel (“BCN”). CRW is also the creator and co-owner of the program. The company is also collaborating with the CDC on a national HIV education outreach campaign. Clara Wilkerson launched the Washington DC based media firm 25 years ago. The company’s core capabilities include developing broadcast TV productions, films, digital media, live event productions and crisis communications. Major national publications such as Prevention, Ladies Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, AARP magazine and more have also promoted and distributed CRW’s work. In 2001, during the Anthrax crisis CRW was hired to lead a team of producers with the CDC presenting a live broadcast to physicians across the U.S. on how to manage patients infected with the deadly anthrax virus.
